Pricing questions
What does one reel actually cost?
Reels are priced as a bundle — script, voiceover, AI footage and captions together. A standard 15-second reel is 10 credits, 30 seconds is 20, and the HD visual base is 25 for 15 seconds. The studio shows the exact cost before you press Generate, and the same settings always cost the same credits.
What happens when a run fails?
The pipeline refunds the credits automatically — you only ever pay for reels that finish. Every grant, spend and refund is recorded on your credit history so you can audit any charge.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly plan credits expire 30 days after each renewal. Free sign-up credits are a one-time grant that does not expire. Credit Top-up purchases never expire while your account is active and are consumed only after monthly credits.
Is there an annual plan?
Not yet. Monthly keeps you flexible while the product is young; an annual option comes once active subscribers ask for it and retention has settled.
What does the commercial license cover?
Every paid plan includes full commercial use — client work, paid ads, brand channels — with no attribution. Free reels are watermarked and licensed for personal use only.
Can I cancel and get a refund?
Cancel anytime from your dashboard; billing stops at the next renewal and your plan stays active until then. Partial months are not pro-rated, and top-up purchases are non-refundable once credited.
What a reel costs in credits
ReelSeconds pricing is built around runs, not seats: plans buy credits, and credits buy reels. Every run has a fixed price that is shown next to the Generate button before you commit, so there is no metered surprise at the end of the month. This is the whole table — there are no hidden per-minute charges, no export fees and no charge for re-downloading something you already made.

In practice: the Starter plan's 150 monthly credits cover about fifteen standard reels — roughly one listing or product post every other day. Creator's 500 credits cover fifty, which is where most people testing several hooks per campaign land. Pro buys 1,500, or about a hundred and fifty reels a month, and is aimed at teams producing for multiple brands or a full listing roster.
How credits behave over a month
The part of ReelSeconds pricing worth reading twice is expiry. Monthly credits arrive with each renewal and expire thirty days later, which keeps the plan honest in both directions: you are not paying to warehouse credits you never spend, and we are not carrying an unbounded liability. Top-up credits work the other way round — they never expire while the account is active, and they are only spent once the month's allocation is gone. If you have a heavy week, buy a top-up rather than jumping a tier for one month.
Failed runs are the case people worry about most, so it is worth being explicit: if the script stage, the voice stage or the footage model fails, the credits committed to that run are returned to your balance automatically as part of the failure path. You do not open a ticket and you do not wait for a human to approve it. The only runs you pay for are the ones that hand you a file.
Everything above applies the same way on every plan. The differences between tiers are the size of the monthly credit pool, watermark-free export, access to the HD footage model and the longer thirty-second format — not access to the pipeline itself.

- Why is ReelSeconds pricing per reel instead of per seat?
- ReelSeconds pricing follows cost: running the pipeline scales with reels generated, not with people logged in. Charging per seat would mean the person who makes four reels a month subsidises the one making four hundred. Credits keep the bill attached to what you actually used, and let a single agent or a ten-person agency start on the same plan.
- Can I cancel or change plan later?
- Yes — plans are month to month and you can change or cancel from your billing settings at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; credits you already hold stay spendable under the rules above until they expire.
